There were so many ways I debated celebrating Winona. It was only when I was re-watching Heathers (the classic 1989 film) when it the imagery for the canvas hit me….In the opening scene, the Heathers play croquet with Winona (as Veronica)’s head. The green grass, the colourful shoes and shoes, the croquet sticks, it was perfect.
