When I was making my list of all the people (childless heroes) I was inspired by, Beatrix Potter was right at the top. Her books, in particular, the tales of the Flopsy Bunnies was always one of my favourites. Even though I did further research on her, her life, her work, and her extensive environmental conversation efforts, it was always the image bunny bums nibbling in the garden that needed to be painted. I love these little bunny bums and all the shades of pink. From sketch to finished effort, you can see I was obsessed with those bums.
